Rules of operation of the Prague City Golf Zbraslav golf course
The operating rules define the obligations that visitors (as defined below) of the Prague City Golf Zbraslav golf course area (hereinafter referred to as the “area”) must comply with in order to ensure their safety and satisfaction. The operator of the course is Prague City Golf s.r.o., ID: 014 84 397, with registered office at Oddechová 886, Lipence, 155 00 Prague 5 (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”).
Terms & Conditions
- The territory of the complex mainly includes the golf course, including all training areas, parking lot, all internal and external areas of the clubhouse and restaurant.
- A visitor is considered a golf player, his entourage, spectators, restaurant visitors and persons passing through the area. Each visitor is fully responsible for damages caused to the health of persons or property of the Operator or third parties caused by their activities.
- Responsible persons within the meaning of these operating regulations are the Operator’s representative, manager, technical manager, receptionist, field marshal/supervisor, referee, security and parking lot service, accredited trainers and trainers, or representatives appointed by the Operator.
- The visitor is obliged to familiarize himself with these operating regulations before entering the premises and to comply with them during his visit.
- All visitors are obliged to maintain order and heed the instructions of the site employees and responsible persons.
- The area is accessible to all visitors during operating hours. The current operating hours may be changed by the Operator depending on the season, weather conditions and the course. Current information is available at the reception and on the praguecitygolf.cz website.
- There is a strict ban on the free running of dogs in the entire area.
- There is a general ban on playing with practice balls on both the championship course and the academy.
- Visitors to the premises are not allowed to wear inappropriate clothing (for example, tank tops, shorts, etc.) and inappropriate shoes (i.e. with metal spikes, rough soles, heels, etc.)
- None of the visitors may leave their children unattended in the premises.
- At the same time, the visitor to the area is obliged to immediately report to the Operator at the reception all extraordinary events (e.g. injury, damage or loss of things) as well as damage to the golf course or other property of the Operator.
- Only coaches who have a contract with the operator of the area may carry out coaching and instructor activities in the area. Every coach is obliged to report his planned coaching activity in the area at the reception and, upon request, to prove himself with a valid contract with the club. A coach without a valid contract may be expelled from the training areas or may be denied entry to the premises.
Rules of behavior on the golf course
- Before using the golf course, each golfer is required to report to the reception desk and pay the golf game fee. Entry to the golf course is only allowed to players with an already paid fee. The golfer is obliged to present a document entitling him to play at any time during the game. If a golfer is unable to produce such proof, he/she may be excluded from further play without compensation by the responsible person. Club members show themselves with a valid membership card.
- Only golfers with an HCP of 54 and below may participate in play on the course. Furthermore, a golfer who has not yet obtained HCP 54, but has already successfully passed the golf aptitude test, or plays with a professional coach or guarantor. He is responsible for maintaining the pace of play and behavior of this golfer.
- The maximum number of players in one group of players on the golf course – in the so-called flight – is 4 people.
- The golfer is obliged to observe the reserved playing time or “teetime”. The golfer must arrive at the teeing area of the 1st hole no later than 10 minutes before the end of the reserved playing time. If he does not arrive at the teeing ground of the 1st hole even within 5 minutes of the reserved playing time, he loses his right to it. However, he may be sent by the marshal to the hole corresponding to his original tee time. The golfer can then also play the holes he missed, but always after an agreement with the reception or the marshal
- The golfer is obliged to observe the sequence of individual holes, the flow of play and the time limits on individual holes. The time limit is indicated on the score card and the operator’s website
- The golfer is required to follow the pace of play and respect the instructions of the marshal. The marshal warns the players about slow play and has the right to ask for speeding up the game. For the sake of the flow of play, the marshal may order the golfer to move to the next hole ahead, or may order the hole to be skipped.
- The golfer is required to observe safety on the course, in particular not to hit the golf ball if there is another person in the line of sight of the tee shot and within range of the intended shot. If a golf ball is flying in a direction with a threatening or unknown impact, he will call out “FORE” loudly, even if it is not his own golf ball.
- The golfer must also take into account the passing public moving on public roads and cycle paths. It is prohibited to hit the golf ball if any bystanders are in the line of sight of the tee shot.
- Players are obliged to take care of the course, not to make practice swings on the tees, to repair any damage to the grass or cut turf after playing the ball, to carefully dig up the sand after playing the ball from the bunker, to carefully poke out traces of the ball hitting the green (“pitch marks”)
- When playing at a distance where the players have impaired vision or cannot see, or if there are other participants in front of them in the playing range, the players are obliged to satisfy themselves that their actions will not cause damage or harm to health and act accordingly.
- The golfer and his companion must be dressed appropriately for the golf course, must have a collared T-shirt or a stand-up golf T-shirt. Blue jeans, jogging clothes, men’s sleeveless t-shirts, men’s sports shorts and women’s tank tops are not allowed. It is forbidden to use shoes other than smooth soles or golf shoes when moving on grassy areas.
- In the event of a storm, play will be interrupted by a warning sound and the golfer must leave the course as quickly as possible. In the event of an interruption of more than 60 minutes, the golfer can ask the reception for an alternative date for a paid game. A golfer who has not finished 5 or more holes is entitled to a replacement date. The new date is valid within 7 days of issue.
- The golfer is obliged to respect the local rules, to observe the rules of the game and behavior in such a way that there is no damage to the equipment used for orientation during the game (information boards, pegs indicating distances or obstacles, markings on the tees, ball cleaners, benches, etc.).
- A visitor who is not a participant in the golf game or accompanied by a player may not enter the course without the permission of the reception. If a visitor to the site enters the playground without the permission of the reception, he enters the playground at his own risk and the Operator is not responsible for any damage or injury.
Rules of behavior on training areas
- Golfers and visitors are prohibited from entering the teeing area, even when picking up played balls.
- Golfers are only allowed to play off the grass from designated areas.
- Golfers are prohibited from taking practice balls outside the practice area – the so-called driving range.
- Golfers and visitors to practice areas must not disturb others during their practice by their behavior.
- On the practice area, golfers are obliged to always aim towards the center of the practice area, so as to prevent possible damage to the health and property of third parties.
- If a golfer wants to practice with his own balls, he must pay an entrance fee to the practice area – see the price list available at the reception.
- Only putting is allowed on the putting green, the short game is prohibited here.
- Players are required to dig practice bunkers one after the other.
- If a player violates these rules of conduct, he may be ejected from the practice area
Use of own means of transport on the golf course
- You are allowed to use your own handcarts with sticks, both manual and electric, and electric buggies.
- It is forbidden to use any personal means of transportation, such as Segways, scooters, boards, etc.
Operation of an electric golf cart
- Instructions and instruction on the correct use of electric golf carts – the so-called bugs – are located in each individual cart.
The minimum age of a person operating a golf cart is 18 years old.
- It is forbidden to drive the golf cart under the influence of alcohol, other intoxicating substances or if there is another reason for which the driver has a reduced ability to drive.
- Golf cart rentals must always be registered at the PCG reception.
- It is forbidden to transport more than 2 people in the trolley.
- The golf cart can only move on paved roads, fairways and low rough.
- The driver of the golf cart is obliged to follow the directional markings on the course.
- The golf cart must not move closer than 15 meters from the boundary of the green. In particular, the cart may not enter the approach and forgreen.
- The golf cart may not leave the golf course area.
- The driver must give priority to the public road (cycle path) so as not to endanger other road users.
- The driver is obliged to adapt the driving speed to his driving skills.
- The driver of the golf cart is responsible for damages caused by improper handling of the golf cart to property and health to himself or third parties.
- The driver of the golf cart is obliged to report any damages, defects or other non-standard situations to the PCG reception.
- The driver returns the golf cart to the designated place immediately after the end of the game, i.e. to the place from which he borrowed the cart. He then returns the wheelchair key to the PCG reception.
- By renting a golf cart, the driver agrees to the operating rules and assumes responsibility for the operation of the golf cart for the entire rental period.
Final Provisions
- This operating range is published on the site operator’s website and posted at the reception of the golf resort.
- The operator reserves the right to allow exceptions to the operating regulations.
- In case of non-compliance with the rules of operation, the responsible person will be expelled from the game without financial compensation or other compensation.
- A visitor to the premises who moves in places where entry is prohibited by these operating regulations, instructions of responsible persons or other warning elements, is not entitled to compensation for damage or harm that he incurs in violation of the prohibition. Even a visitor who has violated the rules of operation or has not behaved in accordance with them, has not respected the instructions of the Operator and has not followed the general rules and ethics of golf, etc., is not entitled to compensation for damages.
- In the event of damage to the Operator’s property due to handling that does not comply with the operating regulations, the lessor may demand full compensation for the resulting damage.
